The design shows a typical Kaneie Style Landscape with mountaions and a River on both sides. A water carry device with two tubs is placed on the ground. several huts in the distance are shown. Fine Amida Buddha Rays are pointing towards the mid of the Tsuba. high above the sun is inlayed in golden|brass Zogan.

One of the hitsuana seems to be closed later if watched from one side. On the other side there is no mark of this to see.


The Tsuba is originated in Japan and was part of the well known collection of Prof. Dr. Karl Adolf Florenz (1865-1939), who teached german in Japan and returned before WW2 to Germany. He was the first european professor for Japanology within Europe in 1914. The Tsuba collection survived the burndown of his house in 1943 after his death and the collection was kept by his family, later split and sold through several auction houses.
