Shown is the Buddhist wheel Rinpo. A very typical early tsuba. Due to the silver inlay work and the overall very rudimentary appearance, the surface and thickness, this style is attributed to the time when the early armor makers - called Ko-Katchushi - were active.
Please also note the great edge and the silver remnants!
